Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru has put on notice public land grabbers saying her administration will apprehend them. She reiterated that her government is hawk-eyed in ensuring all public land is protected. Waiguru expressed her excitement over repossessing the land saying it will be earmarked for an industrial park . The expansive land is said to have been grabbed during the defunct Kirinyaga county council era and assigned to an individual through illegal means. The county chief said her government was in the process of repossessing other public land that have been grabbed.
