IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati and two commissioners will from Monday, March 25, embark on bench-marking tours of six countries at a cost of Ksh30 Million. Chebukati, together with commissioners Abdi Guliye and Boya Molu are planning tours to South Africa, USA, Canada, Australia, India and Nigeria to benchmark on boundaries review. The Auditor General was also recently reported that IEBC could not account for monies amounting to almost Ksh1.5 billion in relation to the twin elections of 2017. The Parliamentary Accounts Committee had recommended removal of Chebukati and commissioners Guliye and Boya.
