At the Murang’a town social hall polling station, voters lined up from about 5am and voting began on a good note. Governor Mwangi wa Iria has asked voters to vote early so they can find those yet to and their reasons. In bulk text messages sent to locals, Wa Iria indicated he will use choppers to mobilise the people to cast their ballots. HIGH TURNOUT IN ELDORETIn Jackson Mandago's Uasin Gishu county, a large number of residents went to vote in Eldret town and other parts. The region is a Jubilee Party stronghold where many are expected to vote for Uhuru to rule for another five years.
