With several former ROH stars now under WWE's umbrella, in an age where viewership continues to sink as WWE has geared its product to a hardcore fanbase, WWE reportedly values ROH's tape library. A lot of their current performers and stars are ROH guys and we have their history. At one point, WWE Hall of Famer and former head of talent relations Jim Ross called WWE's purchase of TNA's tape library "imminent." But vintage wrestling footage was seldom among its most popular programming. In the month of December, "tape library" footage from outside promotions was nowhere to be found.
