Mike Johnson of PWInsider is reporting that Paige is done as an in-ring performer in WWE following her latest injury at a live event in Uniondale, Long Island. Though she appeared on Raw alongside new stable Absolution and seemed on track to return, Paige's once-bright future as an in-ring performer appears to be finished. Still, it will be difficult to garner any type of heel heat given the obvious sympathy brought about by her injury situation. Paige's career in WWE was filled with complications both in and out of the ring prior to what is believed to be a career-ending injury. After suffering a neck injury in 2016, during the thick of a currently surging women's movement, Paige's absence was made more complicated as a result of two different suspensions for violating WWE's wellness policy.
