Monday night on Raw, WWE needled its way-too-excitable fanbase as Vince McMahon pulled (cult) fan favorite Becky Lynch from the WrestleMania 35 main event in favor of the more pedigreed and blonde Charlotte Flair. As of this writing, the video of Vince McMahon announcing Charlotte Flair as Becky Lynch's replacement at WrestleMania 35 has over 60,000 dislikes against 23,000 likes in under two days. To put this in perspective, this video is on a torrid pace to amass more dislikes than WWE's most disliked video of 2017 and 2018 combined. And maybe there's even a select group who truly believe Lynch has been suspended and will miss WrestleMania 35. Whatever it is, WWE has struck a nerve and, thus far, its plan to make Becky Lynch a sympathetic babyface against impossible odds is working like a charm.
