WWE has already announced its top two WrestleMania 35 matches for the Raw brand: Seth Rollins vs. Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship and Ronda Rousey vs. Becky Lynch for the Raw Women's title. But what lies ahead for SmackDown's WWE Championship, currently held by Daniel Bryan, isn't nearly as clear. After all, WWE just designed a personalized, eco-friendly WWE title belt for Bryan, a rarity that implies that Bryan will have a lengthy championship reign that lasts through WrestleMania 35 at the very least. In a matter of just a few months, "The Planet's Champion" has gone from beloved babyface to morally righteous, nature-loving heel, and as arguably the most entertaining villain in WWE, there is no real reason why he shouldn't head into WrestleMania 35 as the WWE Champion. So, what is WWE to do with its WWE title match on the grandest stage of them all?
