Daniel Bryan defeated Kevin Owens to retain his WWE Championship at Fastlane 2019, taking Kofi Kingston one step closer to a WrestleMania 35 world title match in the process. WWE has reportedly been considering having Bryan face a "returning superstar" at WrestleMania 35. While there are some solid choices on this list (a Bryan vs. Cena match could be particularly intriguing), there are drawbacks to virtually all options here. Wyatt vs. Bryan has already been done in the past, while Bryan already feuded with both Owens and Zayn at WrestleMania 34. So, if not Cena vs. Bryan, then why not Bryan vs. Kingston?
