Both Gavaskar and Karthik landed in England on Friday and will be undergoing quarantine before they go out. Gavaskar, who is a senior pro as far as commentary is concerned, wished Karthik his best for the wicket-keeper batsman's firsts official commentary stint. Gavaskar posted a picture of both of them and captioned it saying, "He made his India Test debut when I was a consultant to the Indian cricket team. Now he will make his commentary debut with the WTC finals. The Indian team landed in London on June 3 and straightaway arrived in Southampton where they are currently quarantined for three-days strict quarantine.
