PETALING JAYA: Malaysians should pay heed to the “voice of Americans” and condemn the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) for distributing fake and distorted news, says Tan Sri Annuar Musa. The Umno information chief said the WSJ had for a long time, peddled fake news about the country, apart from trying to “topple the Umno-led government”. “The WSJ has become nothing more than a propaganda outlet and willing vehicle for the Malaysian Government’s political opponents. Annuar said WSJ had been exposed by leading Americans as the purveyor of fake news and Malaysians should not believe a word it says. The Center for American Progress, Annuar said, has accused the WSJ of “deliberate distortions” for reasons of ideological obsession.
