A platform for the distressed women, the public hearing (Jansunwai ) of Rajasthan Women Commission was set to witness tales of exploitation. This inconsiderate attitude of the departments even discomforted the woman commission chairperson, Suman Sharma, who warned to complain against their behaviour. Considering her plea, the women commission issued necessary directions to the administrative officials. The women commission which assured the victim of security, has also decided to write to director general jail in this regard. “This is a serious issue and even if it’s not for the first time that use of mobile phones in prison gets exposed,” said a woman commission official.
