WNBAAhead of the WNBA Draft 2019 presented by State Farm, the league unveiled revamped uniforms. For the second season, all teams will wear Nike Women’s Aeroswift uniforms, which were designed after gathering feedback from WNBA players. According to Nike, the fit features women-specific scapula cuts on the jersey, vents on the shorts, and a variety of uniform lengths and short rises. Nike incorporated a closed-hole mesh fabric with quick-dry back venting that helps regulate body temperature and provides optimal moisture control. When the WNBA adopted marquee jersey sponsorships in 2009, the Los Angeles Sparks and the Phoenix Mercury signed the first agreements; corporate branding soon replaced prominent team branding.
