Asked to bat first, the Windies posted 164 losing five wickets in their stipulated 20 overs, riding on a hurricane 41-ball 68 by opener Evin Lewis. Windies seamer Kesrick Williams took three wickets while medium-pacer and player of the match Kieron Pollard and leg-spinner Hayden Walsh notched two each. The second and penultimate T20I will be held Saturday at the same venue. The Windies earlier whitewashed the Afghans 3-0 in the ODI series.
