Yellow weather warnings for snow and ice remain in place across most of the north-east and north Highlands today, with a change to less cold conditions expected later in the day. Met Office warnings of continuing ice risk will remain in place until midday. The warning, which was issued at 5pm on Sunday, December 3, is expected to remain in place until at least midday today. For parts of north-east Scotland, wintry showers will bring some icy conditions overnight, as well as some accumulating snow inland.
