Miller would have received a purse of close to $5 million for the fight plus upside from the UK PPV. The positive tests for Miller resulted in him being denied a boxing license by the New York State Athletic Commission. The Brooklyn, New York native Miller can still fight, but he’s been removed the World Boxing Association’s rankings for six months until September. That makes sense, because it’s unlikely that Miller would get licensed by any state commission while he’s still under suspension by the WBA. It’ll be interesting to see whether Miller tests clean in the future for his fights.
