The report, prepared by a 30-member team of WB and ADB officials after meeting the Collectors and visiting the affected areas from September 11 will be presented to Chief Secretary Tom Jose on September 22 here. The joint team, led by WB’s Senior Disaster Risk Management Specialist Deepak Singh and Senior Water and Sanitation Specialist Srinivasa Rao Podippireddy, was giving finishing touches to the report, official sources told The Hindu. The report will also cover the WB and ADB-funded ongoing projects such as the Kerala State Transport Project (KSTP) and Jalanidhi drinking water projects hit by the floods. The team, with specialists in rural development, climate risk management, environment, disaster risk management, transport, urban affairs, water sanitation, livelihood, climate change, highway engineering, social development, water supply and sanitation had split into three to tour the districts. The total savings with the State from various ongoing projects funded by the WB and ADB come to ₹388 crore.
