The Ireland Under-17s suffered a heartbreaking exit from the European Championships on Monday night. Corcoran looked to have made a magnificent save only for the referee to order a re-take in controversial circumstances. The referee then made an extremely harsh decision in brandishing a red card, adjudging that Corcoran left his line too early .
