Following the slightest of touches from referee Jose Argote, and moments after receiving a yellow card, Padilla took an outrageous dive in his Ecuadorian side's Copa Sudamericana match against San Jose of Bolivia. The reason he was booked is almost as ridiculous as the dive - with the goalkeeper opting to jog towards the corner flag to delay taking a goal-kick. Going into the 88th minute, Padilla's side were drawing 1-1 at the time, but were leading the first-round clash 4-3 on aggregate - and went on to see out the win.
