The Lanao del Sur crisis management council on Sunday released a seven-minute drone footage of Marawi in an effort to belie claims that the city had suffered massive damage due to military operations. In the footage, even the inner part of the city that remained the main battle area, the destruction was barely visible from air. Mosques also continued to stand amid a claim by the Maute group that these had been flattened by the aerial bombings.
