Well, that's the most Irish headline we think we have ever written; but it's true, a roaming herd of wild goats are causing chaos in County Clare in recent weeks. The pack of 22 goats have descended on Ennis and are terrorising local businesses and road users. The council have said they are going to have to erect some signs to warn road users about the pack of goats, particularly as tourist season begins. An appeal has been made to local farmers and people who have goats to find a home for the lads. Clare County Council said it said it is endeavouring to contact animal sanctuaries and welfare organisations to arrange the safe capture and removal of the wild goats from the area.
