The initiative, spearheaded by the Municipal Chief Executive of the Assembly forms part of government’s efforts to mitigate the economic effects of the global pandemic on the vulnerable in society. Speaking in an exclusive interview with GhanaWeb, the Municipal Chief Executive of the Ayawaso East Municipal Assembly, Hajia Salma Adams Kuta, said the Assembly received the relief items from the Ghana National Buffer Stock Company for onward distribution to residents.
