Arrang­ements have been finali­sed and effort­s will be made to comple­te the verifi­cation campai­gn by Januar­y 7RAWALPINDI: A door-to-door voter verification process will kick off in Rawalpindi from December 15. According to the Rawalpindi District Election Commissioner, arrangements for the drive have been finalized and efforts would be made to complete the verification campaign by January 7. At the moment, there are 2.95 million voters registered in the Rawalpindi district including 1.57 million men and 1.37 women. As many as 29 Assistant Registration Officers and 2,221 verification officers have been assigned the task. Objections on voter lists can be submitted during until February 16.
