A local Dunedin woman, Amanda Young, who volunteers as the coach of the Otago Special Olympics Powerlifting has the chance to win a $10000 team experience for her athletes. Amanda was nominated for a Lotto Sportmaker Award by Kate Hall whose son, Lucas, is in the team. Amanda now has the chance to win the major prize which is decided by public vote. It would be amazing for the Otago Special Olympics Powerlifting team, and for Dunedin, if this special team could bring it home.
