On May 24, 2022, the Georgia Republican Party will hold its primary to determine which Republican candidate will run in the state’s general election on November 8, 2022. In other words, you do not have to be a Republican to vote for Herschel Walker. The number of Latino and White registered voters increased by roughly the same amount, each by 95,000, despite there being far fewer Latino than White existing registered voters (260,000 vs. 3.8 million). In 2022, it is highly likely a Black democrat (Warnock) and a Black republican (Walker) will face off in the general election on November 8, 2022.
