And from reception area to the locker room to the treatments rooms, everything feels bright, pristine, and airy. To pay respect to the spiritual and mystical spirit of New Orleans, the spa whipped up The VooDoo Ritual. Instead of playing the typical New Age spa soundtrack, the sounds of voodoo chants and beats fill the air. Though the first few minutes felt strange, it didn’t take long for me to fall under the treatment’s tranquil, transportive spell.
