Volunteers needed to help make South Alive self-sustainable

Volunteers needed to help make South Alive self-sustainableJoanna Griffiths/Fairfax NZ The Pantry retail manager Lisa Mohenoa, 32, calls for volunteers to help run the store. South Alive is searching for volunteers to help run its new store The Pantry. The Pantry store manager Lisa Mohenoa said the aim of the store was to make South Alive a self-sustainable charity with all profit from the shop going in to funding community projects and other expenses. They needed volunteers to help with stock, clean, help customers and do odd jobs, she said. Volunteers could work as little as 2 hours a month or a full day, whatever best suited them, Mohenoa said.
