The initiative is expected to increase the party’s electoral fortunes in the 2020 general elections in the stronghold of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC). Mr Woanyah indicated the lack of enough logistics for party work had been identified as a contributing factor to the party’s inability to achieve desired electoral results. The Volta Regional NPP Secretary, Joseph Homenya, charged the Ho Central Constituency Executives to work in solidarity towards achieving targets for the 2020 elections, of which winning the parliamentary seat is paramount. He also assured of the unflinching support of the constituency to the political and administrative directions of the party’s regional executives.
