SportCeylon Electricity Board (CEB) SC and Sri Lanka Air Force SC bagged the Munchee National Super League Volleyball Tournament’s men’s and women’s titles at the National Youth Service Council (NYSC) indoor courts, Maharagama on Saturday (18). The tournaments were conducted by the Sri Lanka Volleyball Federation and sponsored by Ceylon Biscuits Limited (CBL). In the men’s final CEB scored an easy three sets to nil (25-21, 25-16 and 25-20) win over Sri Lanka Army. In the women’s final Air Force beat Army by three sets to one (21-25, 25-18, 35-33 and 25-15). Army won the first set comfortably but Air Force came back strongly in the next three sets to record a convincing win.
