FRAMINGHAM — Voices Against Violence, a domestic violence agency and rape crisis center, will host in-person and virtual editions of its 10th annual Purple Passion 5K Walk/Run fundraiser. "Since the very first Purple Passion 5K ten years ago, I have been proud to partner with Voices Against Violence to support this event," said Spilka, the state's Senate president, in a statement. Director Patricia Hohl said the agency is "so happy to once again be offering an in-person event," saying the energy of "that morning is always extraordinary." The first 200 registrants will receive a free Purple Passion T-shirt. Medals will be awarded to the top male and female in-person timed runners as well as the top male and female in-person runners in 14 age categories.
