Some 10 students from Voi Boys Secondary School have allegedly been suspended for eating extra pieces of bread during breakfast. According to a report by Nation, the students who were suspended on Monday were asked to report back to school with a bale of wheat flour and 10 litres of cooking oil as punishment. Schools parent representative Elias Mberi told Nation that the decision was made in a meeting, to curb indiscipline by students. However, he added that his office has not received any complaint from the school or the parents. He further asked the affected parents to report the matter to his office adding that the incident will be investigated.
