India's second largest telecom company Vodafone on Tuesday announced new Red postpaid plans to take on Jio. The three plans are - RED Traveler, RED International and RED Signature. Speaking about the launch of the new Vodafone RED post-paid plans, Avneesh Khosla, Associate Director - Consumer Business, Vodafone India, said, "We are delighted to announce the launch of our new Vodafone Post Paid RED plans that guarantee our consumers a host of unprecedented benefits. Vodafone is offering free Red Shield, a handset protection feature against theft and damage, unlimited local/STD, free roaming, free national roaming, data benefits and 100 SMS free across all the three plans. Red International plan: With this plan, Vodafone users can enjoy free ISD minutes to USA, Canada, China, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore.
