Mobile data usage among Vodafone customers increased by over 19% during 2025 as the number of voice calls across the network declined, new data from the telecoms provider shows. According to the company, mobile data usage rose by 19.24% year-on-year, climbing from 445,133 TB in 2024 to 530,794 TB in 2025. According to the communications regulator ComReg, in the third quarter of 2025, Three had the largest share of mobile subscriptions in Ireland with 49.4% — these including mobile broadband and Machine to Machine subscriptions. Machine to Machine subscriptions are specific sims that help smart devices communicate.
