One of Ghana’s leading telecommunications company, Vodafone Ghana has emerged CSR Telecom Company of the Year at the just ended Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Excellence Awards held in Accra. It is also the second consecutive time the company has won the best CSR award for Health, which recognises efforts made in the rollout of sustainable health initiatives including Healthline, Healthfest, Healthline Call Centre and Homecoming. Commenting on the awards, Ebenezer Amankwah, Corporate Relations Manager at Vodafone Ghana said Vodafone approach to CSR is unique and this distinguishes them from the rest. The company also took the best CSR award for Health at the same event.
