Tanzania's boxer Karim Madonga, alias Mtu Kazi, decimated his Kenyan counterpart Daniel Wanyonyi in a super-middleweight bout held at KICC, Nairobi. Mandonga lived up to his hype of the show after technically knocking out Wanyonyi in the fifth round of the show after Wanyonyi declined to get back to the ring for the next round handing Mandonga victory. Speaking after the match, Mandonga defended his hype for the match saying it is key in making the game lively. “Mdomo ni ya kupiga promo, nikiingia ulingo iko nafasi ya ngumi,” Mandonga said. In another match, Kenya's boxer Rayton Okwiri floored Tanzania's Shaban Ndaro in the middleweight fight.
