Vivegam has done quite well at the Chennai box office. The movie minted Rs 5.75 crore in the first weekend, with an opening day collection of Rs 1.22 crore, followed by Rs 1.51 crore the next day, in Chennai alone.Overall, Vivegam is this year's biggest blockbuster, with an opening day collection of Rs 25.83 crore, followed by a second day business of Rs 24.17. That apart, in the overseas market, the movie has grossed Rs 18 crore in the first three days, making that a total of Rs 68 crore. Vivegam had made $411,000 in the United States over the weekend.And now, the fourth day business is slated to be anywhere between 15-20 crore. Interestingly, Ajith's Vivegam has surpassed Vijay's Bairavaa collection, which raked in Rs 3.09 crore in the four-day first weekend.
