Quarantine status in Zamboanga del Sur has been lowered to general community quarantine with heightened restrictions and basketball games are now allowed in the province with minor restrictions. The professional league actually played its first six games at the Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Gymnasium in Ipil because Zamboanga del Sur was still under modified enhanced community quarantine. In the 2 p.m. opening game, host team Pagadian faces Kapatagan followed by the Zamboanga City and ALZA Alayon Zamboanga del Sur clash at 4 p.m.
