This scourge has almost brought the world to a standstill, with rising infections and deaths and a huge toll on economic activity. It has made it difficult for families for provide for their members and for the public and private sectors to sustain production. It is, therefore, in the interest of Kenya to be in the forefront in the search for a cure for Covid-19. The involvement of the World Health Organisation (WHO) is the best assurance that it is in the best interests of all.
