MINNEAPOLIS—Twelve years ago at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds, just a few miles from where the men’s Final Four is taking place, a bull broke loose. Then it lowered its head, took aim at a fire hydrant and rammed it, dying instantly. This is the type of gruesome spectacle that we could be in for Monday night’s national championship between No. 1 seed Virginia and No. 3 seed Texas Tech.
