A video circulating on social media has shown that it is raining worms in the Chinese capital of Beijing. The video, shared by Insider Paper, shows dusty brown clusters of worms all over cars parked alongside the roads. People can be seen using umbrellas to protect themselves from the worms, which appear to be falling from the sky. The cause of the worm rain is unknown but may be the result of heavy winds sweeping up insects and depositing them elsewhere. However, Chinese journalist Shen Shiwei claims that the video is fake and that there has been no rainfall in Beijing recently.
