MANILA, Philippines – The Toyota Vios Cup, the sole one-make race in the country today, will make a much-awaited return as it recently launched its fourth season with more race rounds and celebrity guest drivers. "We're confident and hopeful that the Vios Cup will further develop and promote motoring in the Philippines," said Suzuki during the event launch at the Pampas Latino Bistro at Uptown BGC in Taguig City. The champion of the super sporting class will take home a brand new Vios 1.5 G-M/T while the second and third placers will receive P200,000 and 100,000, respectively. The price list for the top three sporting class winners are P150,000 for first and P100,000 and P50,000 for second and third, while the top three finishers in the Rota Promotional Class will get trophies and a chance to get promoted in the sporting class next year. Ferdinand Ong of the Tuason Racing School is the Season 4 race director.
