The storm produced wind gusts of up to 60 miles per hour that knocked down power lines and trees across the metro New Orleans area. Several videos captured what appeared to be a funnel cloud over the city. WDSU reported that the homes collapsed at around 4 p.m. local time, as heavy rain and high winds moved through the area.
