FeaturesThe Vintage Car Owners Club held a reliability run over the weekend from Moratuwa to Galle. Stopping off in Hikkaduwa for lunch and meeting up with other members and continuing the journey in fancy dress. The club was formed in 1987, catering to owners of Veteran, Edwardian, Vintage and Post-Vintage vehicles. There are nearly 200 members with in excess of 200 vehicles. President of the Vintage Car Owners Club Neil Fernando, owner of an Austin 7 and Morris 8 produced in 1937 said, “Some of these cars are approaching 100 years, they are British and German made.
