Villeray–St-Michel–Parc-Ex mayor asked to work from home amid harassment allegations

Villeray–Saint-Michel–Parc-Extension Mayor Giuliana Fumagalli has been asked to work from home after allegations of harassment were made against her. The borough mayor will still be present at borough and city council meetings, the mayor said. The next borough council meeting is scheduled for June 5, and city council will meet next on May 28. The Villeray–Saint-Michel–Parc-Extension is composed of five elected representatives, including three from Projet Montréal: Fumagalli, Rosannie Filato and Sylvain Ouellet. "Everyone in that environment knows that it's not possible to be a part-time mayor," Perez said.
