The Bakers Arms is located in Harkstead on the Shotley peninsula but closed down in December 2021. Earlier this year, the Shotley peninsula south of Ipswich was named one of the best places to live in the UK by The Sunday Times. The pub is a short walk away from Harkstead beach on the River Stour. There is also a split lounge bar and dining area which can seat 40 customers as well as a trade garden and fully equipped trade kitchen.
