Rustington FC and Royal Blood have formed an unlikely alliance / Image: Rustington FCRustington Football Club, who play in division two of the Southern Combination League, have announced they will be sponsored by UK band ‘Royal Blood’ this coming season. The club say they are thrilled with the partnership with one of Europe’s hottest bands, who hail from Brighton, and it’s hoped the relationship can build the profile of the club. Chairman Gareth Davies, delighted to link up with such an iconic new sponsor, said: "We are absolutely thrilled that ‘Royal Blood’ have supported us in this way. Rustington are waiting to hear when the new kit will be able to be worn - with no county league football having been played in Sussex since March 2020 and no date yet for the start of the new season. But the new strip is already on order with members of the band likely to be the first to receive theirs.
