Vikram Kumar Doraiswami UNBHe will replace Riva Ganguly DasIndia's Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has officially named Vikram Kumar Doraiswami as the next high commissioner to Bangladesh. Doraiswami has earlier served as the Indian ambassador to the Republic of Korea. He joined the Indian Foreign Service (IFS) in 1992. Doraiswami will replace Riva Ganguly Das, the 1986 batch officer of the Indian Foreign Service (IFS). Das, who replaced Harsh Vardhan Shringla as the Indian high commissioner to Bangladesh, arrived in Dhaka on March 1 last year to take up her assignment.
