Vihiga Queens FC players celebrate a goal against Makolanders FC during the Women Premier League match at Camp Toyoyo on Saturday. The win saw Trans Nzoia maintain second place behind Vihiga Queens with 16 points, six points behind the leaders. Violet Nanjala gave Trans Nzoia the lead in the 15th minute before Immaculat Nawire restored parity at the half hour mark. Trans Nzoia however pulled away with two quick goals by Nanjala in less than five minutes as the visitors ended up winning 4-2.
