However, he believes, it is imperative that both parties come to a perfect understanding at the preparatory stage before involving other stakeholders in the discussion to bring finality to vigilantism. “Notwithstanding any of the things we are going to do, it will be necessary that we understand each other and not UN and ECOWAS getting involved. But if their presence in the meeting will make the NDC feel comfortable, we don’t really bother so much about it,” he stated. He, however, indicated that the NPP will still continue to engage the NDC is even prepared to use fiat to invite them "so we can move forward".
