Viewpoint: Lack of Maidenhead public toilets needs to be addressed

The only other facilities are at Sainsbury’s but they are not particularly central and are not public facilities and could be closed for cleaning or whatever whenever the company wants. At this rate the town will have to wait until the precinct rebuilding has been completed and hope they keep to their agreement and provide public facilities. One particular NDHA that had significant support was the York Road football ground, home of Maidenhead United. The ground has international recognition as the oldest continually used association football ground in the world.
