Vietnamese Doan back in klia2 two days after Kim Chol's murder, court told


SHAH ALAM: A prosecution witness told the High Court today that one of the accused, Vietnamese Doan Thi Huong, 28, was in klia2, two days after she allegedly murdered North Korean Kim Chol, nine months ago. Meanwhile, the 18th-witness, Sergeant Shamsul Bahrin Abdullah, who was stationed at the klia2 police station said Kim Chol was carrying a lot of cash, including 1,240 pieces of USD1,000 bank notes, on the day of the incident. Shamsul said the hospital staff had handed over a North Korean passport belonged to Kim Chol together with his belongings. Shamsul was testifying in the trial of Siti Aisyah, 25, and Doan who are charged with murdering Kim Chol, 45, along with four others still at large, at the klia2 on Feb 13. Kim Chol, 45, who was claimed to be Kim Jong-nam, the estranged half-brother of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, was killed by a highly toxic liquid nerve agent VX at klia2, at about 9am.
